I started Koola herbals to bridge the gap between two groups of women that need each other. One group is the women who seek natural ways of healing, the other group is the rural women of East Africa looking to earn an income for themselves and their families. I am confident that this goal is fully achievable through Koola Herbals.

Doula
Safina
Meet Safina the village Doula.
In Kasozi village, 80-year-old Safina has dedicated her life to supporting expectant and new mothers. With no nearby health center, women must travel for miles to access medical care. To bridge this gap, Safina has become their immediate source of antenatal and postnatal support for decades. Drawing from her vast knowledge of traditional herbs and natural remedies, she guides women through pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Some of the healing herbs found in our Engozi Tea and Postpartum Bath are those she has used for years, and the formulations are inspired by her time-honored recipes.

Herbalist
Habibah Namukose
We as rural women are happy to share herbal knowledge with women in other parts of the world. These blends have been used for generations and some of us use them as the only available form of treatment since hospital visits are mostly not affordable. I know that these herbs will make a change in your lives and our lives.

She had to leave her husband and children because of abuse, but has found new strength by working with Koola Herbals.
